Contact Lens Fittings and Evaluations

The majority of our patients wear contact lenses in addition to their eyeglasses. It is very important to our contact lens practice to successfully prescribe the most optimal contact lenses for your individual needs, whether you use them for sports, work or as social wear.


The contact lens examination will involve a comprehensive eye examination, a thorough history of your specific contact lens needs and a number of follow-up visits so that we can confirm the lenses are fitting your eyes properly and that your eyes are able to tolerate contact lens wear. In many cases, trial lenses will be used to verify your contact lens selection.
